The beginning of the end

Well it's already the second day into classes in Florence with Professor Cooperman. The giaggo (trip) has been amazing thusfar.

Some highlights that if I have time to I would like to delve into further include:

Getting to the Airport

- We left right after picking up my sister and brother from school. My mother dropped me off thankfully early and I was able to meet a bunch of people after going through security (at security I had to take off my belt and then I had to go all the way back to security because I left it there at first)

The flight

- specifically the two times I up-chucked the contents of my stomach because of turbulance and the time Lauren passed out. Taking flight 415 for 8 hours with Lufthansa was an experience with the warsteiner bottles and the cramped seats that NO ONE could sit in properly. Oh well! Luckily we got in and I have a stamp from Munchen now. We were able to transfer onto a charter plane for our flight to Pisa in time despite earlier concerns of limited time. And thus begin the story of my trip to Italy and if it was worth the airplane ride. :-)
I am pretty sure after meeting my 11 fellow participants that it was worth coming to Italy; they are an interesting and diverse bunch of kids.
